Amaani thobes are sized by two measurements. The number (e.g. 56) is the thobe length in inches, measured from shoulder to hem - choose it according to your height. The letter (S, M, L, XL, XXL) is the width and fit profile: select a smaller letter for a sharper, tailored appearance, or a larger one for a more relaxed, traditional silhouette.
How light is the grey?
A true light grey: clearly pale, distinctly grey rather than silver or off white. The Signature Buttons sit slightly darker, giving the detailing a soft definition.
What is the cut?
The same tailored, modern Hubb silhouette as the other shades. If in doubt between two width letters, take the larger for a long day of wear.
What fabric is it made of?
It is cut in easy care polyester, a fabric that holds its colour, resists creasing and needs very little looking after.
Is a pale thobe hard to maintain?
No harder than white. Wash it cool, hang it to dry and give it a warm iron if needed. The polyester holds its shape wash after wash, so it stays crisp without any fussing. Wash it with light colours.
