What is bakhoor?
Bakhoor is the Arabic word for incense. Burned over charcoal, it fragrances the home, and in the Arab tradition the scented smoke is also used to perfume clothing and hair. The distinct, plush scents will transport you back to those Haramain memories.
How to burn bakhoor
Light an instant charcoal disc for 10 to 15 seconds and place it on the bottom tray of the burner. Add a few pieces of Amaani Bakhoor onto the charcoal, then top up every 10 to 15 minutes until the charcoal has burnt out.
What incense can you use?
Bakhoor, lobaan, frankincense, cone incense and dukhoon.
Despite every effort to photograph each colour and design accurately, actual colours may vary due to screen settings, lighting and slight differences in product finishes over time.
Caution: For external use only. Do not inhale smoke or fumes directly. Never leave burning charcoal unattended. The burner gets hot during use and stays hot for some time afterwards - do not touch it, and ensure the charcoal is completely put out before handling.
The number is the length in inches, shoulder to hem. The letter is the fit through the chest and body. All measurements in centimetres.
